Jan Butensky
President
Jan graduated from Jacksonville University with a B.S. in Accounting in 1975, and held corporate accounting positions until 1981, when he left accounting to pursue a career as a financial advisor. After associating himself as a Vice-President and branch manager of a local regional brokerage firm, he joined Prudential Securities in 1985, where he was Vice President-Investments. In 1990 Jan graduated from the Prudential Securities Investment Management School. It was during Jan’s & Allan’s experiences at Prudential Securities that they learned & perfected the techniques of investment management. In 1995 they opened their own Registered Investment Advisory, with the objective to provide straightforward, no conflict of interest, independent financial advisory services for individual investors.
Jan states, “It is gratifying to have the opportunity to assist people with their financial affairs, while building trust & confidence.” He feels it is important to listen to and understand each individual’s financial goals and then put together the solution to accomplish those goals.
